Contract Cleaner Positions
Hygiene Factor is a multi-faceted cleaning company in high growth mode. We have a number of positions available for reliable professional cleaners. The positions are located across Auckland and within a number of our divisions.
For each of the roles we need people who can follow instructions, have initiative, a good command of the English language, great timekeeping skills. Above all you will live up to the expectations of “Keeping it Clean” by this we mean exceeding our clients’ expectations. You’ll have experience of cleaning to a high standard and an eye for detail.

This position is for night cleaning of a professional services firm in the central city. It is for 2.5 hours on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday with the occassional weekend work. The site is large and the cleaning schedule includes dishes, kitchens, bathrooms, vacuuming. You will be part of a two person team.
If you are an early bird and enjoy starting early and finishing early this role is ideal. It is 3 half days on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. The duties include washroom sanitisation (cleaning and sanitising toilets, sinks, urinals and key touchpoints) as well as washroom services (changing out sanitary bins, airfresheners, soaps, hand towels and toilet paper).
You’ll need to have your own reliable transport and be a confident driver with the ability to drive to mulitple locations including the central city and the North Shore. Our clients are pretigeous restaurants and professional organisations. You’ll be onsite while people are using the facilities so must be able to communicate effectively.
The scheduled run must be adhered to with strict access times to ensure our clients’ facilities are impecable.
Locations are in East Auckland and Whitford. Working days are Thursdays and Fridays. The clients expecations are to come home to a spotless home. You’ll need to have experience in residential cleaning with the ability to go the extra mile.
You’ll be able to do the jobs within school hours if required.
Our technology cleaning division Techno Clean provides a thorough cleaning service of workstations. This includes computer keyboards, mice, phones, calculators, desks, shelves and other equipment. The work is in the evenings and weekends.
You’ll need to have experience in a similar role, however, for the right contractor we can provide training.
We provide exit cleans to a high standard to ensure tenants get their bond back, landlords are happy with our cleaning as well as people preparing their homes for sale and once they have moved. The majority of these are on a Thursday and Friday and generally vacant houses. The turnaround time is generally tight so being able to work quickly without compromising on quality is essential.
